Opening Hours

We don’t have a curfew once you get your keys. To check-in our office is open
Mon - Fri 10:00 a.m. to 21:00 p.m.
Sat - Sun 12:00 p.m. to 14:00 p.m. and 16:00 p.m. to 21:00 p.m.

To check in you must call us when you arrive to Barcelona or arrange an appointment before you leave your country so that someone will wait for you at the location you have booked. 

Waiting Periods

We have a small staff, you might have to wait up to one hour. When calling our phones may be busy or shortly not be available due lack of coverage, etc. please try again in 5 minutes

Late Check ins

Under special circumstances, we will make arrangements for late check ins, you must make an appointment before closing time. An extra 25 euros fee applies between 9pm to 12pm. If arriving later than midnight you must make an appointment 3 days in advance. A fee of 40 euros applies. Please call us to make sure a member of a staff will be waiting for you.

No Guests Allowed and Identification
We will copy your passport and you will have to sign a guest agreement on arrival including your credit card information. For security reasons you can´t bring any visitors or friends to your lodging at any time. Penalties will be charged according to the ones listed below
 
Community Rules and Neighbors
If you stay in a residential building you must respect the neighbors. Ringing other apartment bells hanging out at the door, street or stairs and being loud in and out of the building is prohibited especially during quite hours. Neighbour complaints to us or the police will be billed to your credit card.

Accommodation Changes

During busy periods you may be required to change apartments during your stay, just a few minutes from your first location, to accommodate all groups.

Locations

As explained before making a booking we provide a service to book rooms and residential apartments located within 10 to 20 minutes walking to la Rambla, or in some cases 5 min by metro in the Old City and Eixample district. 

Payment
Its due on arrival, unfortunately we don't accept credit card payments. Cancelations must be done by email 48 hours prior to arrival.

By booking thru Bcnloft.com you understand that you are reserving a type of room/lodging. Rooms and facilities may vary from the ones shown here. The images of the properties shown in these pictures represent actual properties for rent. You don´t have a duty to stay at these premises but only to pay for the first night. If you are not satisfied with the property offered when you arrive you may cancel your entire booking providing a 24 hours notice. The 10% deposit is non-refundable unless there was a problem or emergency with the accommodation booked and we can´t find alternative accommodation for you. Groups
4 or more guests might be charged a deposit of 200 euros on arrival. This deposit will be returned at check out and will cover any expenses like broken furniture, neighbour complaints, etc. We do not accept online bookings for groups larger than 6 guests. We cannot refund any deposit if you make multiple bookings overriding this limit.

Partner Hostels and Alternative Accommodation

In the case that you booked thru a third party website such as Hostelworld or Hostelbookers, or your credit card was not accepted thru Hostelscenter and you do not confirm your credit card details directly with us, we will refer your booking to a partner hostel. 10% deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. Also, if for some reason (a problem with a our bookings system, an emergency at the apartment like a broken pipe, broken furniture or lack of electricity or gas) we can´t provide you with the accommodation you booked in the first place we will try to solve this problem by helping you find alternative accommodation with on of our partner hostels with similar facilities. We are not to be held responsible if we can´t find an accommodation your choice.

Security

The door of the lodging must be kept locked at all times. Please do not bring any expensive items or large amounts of cash. We are not responsible for any missing or stolen items. You acknowledge and agree to take responsability for your own safety and property at all times. To avoid fire risks there is NO SMOKING allowed.

Booking Cancellations

You can cancel your reservation directly by contacting us. Generally cancelation policies are within 48 hours. If you don´t cancel within the specified time your credit card might be charged for the first night.

Customer Satisfaction, Complaints and Refunds

We aim to provide a comfortable service at a low price. The accommodation advertised on our website provides one of the best values for money in Barcelona. We offer a "no frills" service, but our rates are some of the most competitive. However we also understand that by booking online you may not get an exact idea of our service, procedures, rules and facilities so we offer a customer satisfaction policy as follows: If you booked and payed for several days, you may cancel your booking at any time providing a 24 hours notice. You will get a full refund minus the 10% deposit payed on a booking website. Unfortunately, if you are not satisfied with our service but you don´t give us notice, we will not be able to give any refunds for the nights that you already stayed. In the event of an emergency such as a broken pipe, non working facilities like kitchen or bathroom, or any other problems that may arise in your accommodation we will try to resolve the problem within 24 hours. In some cases a refund of up to 20% percent per day can be provided, or you will be referred to a partner hostel with similar facilities.

Contract Cancellation and Penalties

Failure to respect these ruless will automatically terminate the contract. You will be asked to leave the premises immediately and your personal property will be removed. No refunds will be provided and you will be charged the following service charges and penalty fees when applicable:

Any broken furniture or damages will be charged on a per item basis to the credit card provided when making the booking. You agree and authorize BCN loft to charge your credit card for the previously explained fees and charges that may incur during your stay if you or your group fails to follow the rental contract.

 

Privacy and Confidential Information

Our booking software includes processing of payments, back-end administration of customer information and submiting of confirmed reservations to clients. When making a booking you will need to provide confidential information like your personal details, passport numbers, address, telephone, credit card number, etc. We treat this information as strictly confidential and will be stored on our secure server. Confidential information will be accessed only by our credit card processor and the operator of the property you have reserved to confirm a booking.

You are in control

An email will be sent to you by HostelsCentre.com to provide you with a written confirmation which you might need to show on arrival. Also special offers and planned activities during your stay will be sent to you. If you don´t want to receive this kind of information simply reply to the email with the subject line "unsubscribe".

Credit Card Charges and Payments

Once you select the room /apartments you would like to stay at and confirm your acceptance for the booking, your credit card will be charged for 10% of the total amount of the stay. This amount serves to secure the availability for you at the selected property. This represents a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit and serves to cover HostelsCentre.com´s use of software, infrastructure, advertising and marketing expenses. Even if you cancel your reservation the 10% deposit will not be charged back to your credit card. By making a booking you accept these charges in return of our services. The rest of the amount payable for your stay is due on arrival or will be charged on arrival. Some bookings might require to pay a further deposit on top of the 10% charged by HostelsCentre.com deposit to confirm a booking under certain circumstances like large groups, long term stays, etc. All sensitive information exchanged between your computer and our site is encrypted using SSL. Our SSL Cert. is provided by Miva Merchant. This ensures that your information is transmitted securely and is safe from third parties. Hostelscenter/BCNLoft will appear on your credit card statement. You should be aware that where you link to another web site from this web site, that Hostelscenter.com has no control over that other web site. Accordingly, Hostelscenter.com cannot guarantee that the controller of that web site will respect your privacy in the same manner as us.
